Complementary to 3D, the Machine Control solution enables the preparation of 3D data for wood machining centres. In just a few clicks, your design is translated into machine data for rapid production in line with your project. In the world of wood, there are 3 main machine families: Bar, Panel and Assembly. And let’s not forget the possibility of exporting to CNC metal cutting machines: profiles and plates.

Whatever the machine to which the data will be transcribed, cadwork always works on the following principle: the designer designs his works with all the necessary cuts, contours, notches and drillings using the company’s know-how, and all cadwork’s recognition intelligence analyses and exports the geometries as data read by your machine.

Cadwork is compatible with all major manufacturers.

Bar

This solution is designed for cutting machines that machine bars. Trusses, purlins, rafters and timber frames are machined from 3D drawings produced in the design office. You can export BVN, BVX, BTL, BTLx directly to your machine’s format.

Panel

Whether you’re a fitter or a woodworker, you’ll be able to control your CNC. All the machines concerned are those that machine elements by contour to format the finished part and carry out the necessary machining: rabbets/grooves, drilling, half-timbering, etc., up to 5-axis contouring.

Assembly

Your machine assembles timber frames: this solution will control all the most common framing machines on the market: Mach Diffusion, JJSmith, Hundegger WallMaster, Weinmann Wallteq. You can set nailing pitches, un-nailed zones and safety zones, take account of opening modules, and choose tools for sawing or drilling.

Metal

Export your metal plates to a laser or plasma cutter directly as a DXF or DSTV file. You can also use machine recognition to export machining operations on metal profiles directly in .NC format.
