Export to panel-type machines enables recognition of contours, from the simplest to the most complex, such as 5-axis contours, internal or external, through or through-not, as well as pocket contours and raw part contours.
Bars are typical elements of traditional carpentry, oriented along the 3 dimensions of width, height and length.
Cadwork has been piloting bar-type machines for many years. Each volumetric element drawn freely in cadwork 3D is analyzed by a shaping recognition algorithm, which sets up the most suitable shaping on each piece of wood, according to the geometry and position of the material to be removed from the blank. This pattern recognition grid can be modified and customized for each type of machine. In this way, the resulting control file is fully adapted to the type and machine capabilities of the selected cutting center.
Assembled elements combine both bars and panels. These 2 types of elements are incorporated into a wall entity, which is oriented. The wall then has a reference face and an opposite face. These composite walls are typically found in timber-frame wall construction. Cadwork controls these Assemblage-type machines via an interface that enables the various wall settees to be managed individually. For each of these canapés, we decide on the types of shaping allowed, the choice of panel-cutting tool (saw, milling cutter…), whether or not to use a draft, the optimized management of nailing lines…
