CADWORK may collect the following personal data via forms when you use this website:

By providing this information, you agree to its processing by CADWORK, for the purposes indicated in point 3 below and for the purposes indicated at the end of each form and you have the right to access this data as indicated in point 6 below.

b. Log files

The site host (see Legal Notice) may automatically collect and record information in server log files. The information recorded in these files is automatically transmitted by your browser. Here are some of the data recorded:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
    URL from which the site is accessed
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of server request

This data cannot be used to identify an individual directly and is not cross-checked with other data sources. This data enables us to monitor and improve the performance of our website and is therefore used for maintenance purposes.

 

The data controller is CADWORK, whose registered office is at Route de Montreux 151, CH – 1618 Châtel-St-Denis.

CADWORK may process your personal data for the following reasons:

  • in order to provide you with the information or services you have requested (in particular: the sending of the Newsletter, commercial offer, quotation or any other information document); and/or 
  • in order to improve our website, our products and services (in particular by means of cookies); and/or
  • in order to be able to contact you about various events relating to CADWORK, including in particular product updates and customer support.

 

CADWORK is the sole recipient of your personal data. This data, whether in individual or aggregated form, is never transmitted to a third party, with the exception of subcontractors that CADWORK may call upon (you will find more information about them in point 7 below). Neither CADWORK nor any of its subcontractors market the personal data of visitors and users of its website.

Your personal data will only be kept by CADWORK for the period corresponding to the purpose of the collection as indicated in point 3 above, which in any event will not exceed :

  • for cookies: a maximum of 13 months 
  • for user accounts on the website: indefinitely until the account is deleted at the user’s request or the user’s access rights expire (membership, subscription, etc.). The data will be destroyed within 12 months of the account being deleted. 
  • for newsletter subscribers: indefinitely until a request to unsubscribe is made. The data will be destroyed at the same time as the unsubscription. 
  • for accounting data (invoices, orders, etc.): 10 years 
  • for prospects: 36 months after the last solicitation to which the prospect responded 
  • for other form data recorded on the site: 24 months 
  • for customers: 10 years after the last invoice issued by CADWORK. 

For users who have an account on our site or register with us, we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All users can view, modify or delete their personal data at any time (with the exception of their user name). Site managers can also view and modify this information.

Export and portability of your data

If you have an account or if you have left comments on the site or if you have subscribed to our newsletter, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data that we hold about you, including that which you have provided to us, by using the form below.

CADWORK has previously ensured that its service providers provide adequate guarantees and comply with strict conditions in terms of confidentiality, use and data protection.

CADWORK undertakes to implement all necessary measures to guarantee the security of personal data.

Login & User account

If you have an account and log on to this site, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.

When you log on, we will set a certain number of cookies to record your connection information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a connection cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. If you tick ‘Remember me’, your connection cookie will be kept for a fortnight. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.

with regard to the processing of personal data

The following information sets out the specifics of the collection and processing of personal data collected in the context of online sales on the site.

During your visit to the site, we track :

  • Products you have seen: we use these to, for example, display products you have recently seen.
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we use these to estimate taxes and delivery charges
  • Delivery address: we will ask you to enter this to estimate delivery costs before you place your order, and to send you the order! We use cookies to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket while you are browsing our site.

When you purchase from our website, we will ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, delivery address, email address, telephone number, payment/credit card details and possibly account details such as username and password. This information will be used to:

  • Configure your account for our shop
